Screen time

A public art installation by secret gallery and the secret gallery visual media director: Aaron Mancha.

Featured in downtown albuquerque, NM.

Dec 2024 thru March 2025

In partnership with the City of Albuquerque’s Public Arts program, the ScreenTime art installation is a collection of television monitors sourced from different eras, which together create a unique and immersive display of digital art and interactive elements. This media setup operates as a cohesive, single integrated display that draws in viewers. Video and digital works created by Secret Gallery artists continuously rotate within a diverse program, showcasing a range of visual styles. Additionally, an integrated camera facing the street enhances the display by capturing live video that dynamically reacts to audience members, effectively making them integral parts of the ever-changing visuals. Visitors are encouraged to take selfies, express themselves, and actively engage with their images as they appear on the screens.
