Artist Statement
“Decay, Disinterest & Disinvestment
Spaces actively made and abandoned.
LIMBO // The space between is a show curating D’Ali’s documentative images of liminal zones, primarily in the southwest, although sometimes further.
Passageways and terminals are no different here because each succumbs to time and memory. They have been rendered into images that you may project your own feelings onto. These images become Portals into your own personal Limbo.
Ring the bell, the concierge won't come. There are no carts to return in this empty lot. You’ve missed your flight, you’ve missed them all. When you reach a dead end at least the parking will be free.”
